A recent Norton Antivirus "LiveUpdate" was in error. Try a new LiveUpdate, and restore the quarantined file - then you may find that Norton AntiVirus no longer detects that Backdoor.SubSeven!!! In my case, no other viruschecker detected anything wrong with the "infected" file which had resided on my system for 2-3 years. When I "LiveUpdated" today, the "problem" disappeared. Of course, your case may differ, so proceed with caution.

Why does "michael4jonella@yahoo.com" want to know what your current ip address is? Maybe you better get the Zonealarm firewall, as "Tech" said!!

You can get a utility that locks the MS Winsock to prevent such trojans being able to access/modify it. It creates two small (72 bytes each) files to fool the trojan into thinking it has already been installed. This program is intended to be used BEFORE an attack as a preventative measure. Once you've killed off this deadly intruder, go to the following site and get your copy of this good utility for future security.
