Subject: I can't to install anything
OS: Win 98 SE
CPU/Ram: 176 MB
Model/Manufacturer: AMD Duron
Comment:

When I try to install any software appears this follow message:
"An error occurred while trying to read the source file: The source file is corrupted.
Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation."
Same occurs for all softwares that I tried... (10 or more)...

Thanks very much to:

Are you attempting to install from a CD? Are you sure the software is compatible with 98?

Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

It could be a defective CD drive.
Or it could be corrupted downloads. If you are on dialup, you might have a phone line problem.

Do yourself a favor BACKUP!
