Comment: i am having a problem getting out of 16 color mode it just wont let me ... any one know how i can do this... don't know how it happened in the first place but just turned on my computer and everything looked like a water color... don't want to have to pay someone big bucks to fix this ... please help

Reply: (edit)Try going to start,system information,click on system configuration,click advance and see if vga640x480x16 is checked if so uncheck then restart you pc,see if that helps,let us know

Reply: (edit)Check that you can't get the display out of 16 colours first, and if it is stuck.... As seawatch says, reinstall video adapter driver. START - SETTINGS - CONTROL PANEL - SYSTEM - DEVICE MANAGER - click the + sign next to the display adapter. Highlight the videocard
shown, then select PROPERTIES - DRIVER - UPDATE DRIVER.
