Reply: (edit)Yeah, my brother's HP is like that... I tried to put a voodoo3 card in it, and disabled the onboard video (even through the Bios) and it would always come back and detect & install the old video card.... Too integrated!

Reply: (edit)if it's beeping the card must not be in all the way. as for the rest I'd get a motherboard manual from HP. If you can find one on that site maybe email them for one. Disabling the drivers in Windows or changing them would have no effect on the motherboard itself. If you can't find a jumper on the motherboard or setting in the bios. You might try after getting the card in without beeps. and resetting the cmos jumper. I haven't had much luck with onboard video either but in my case it was an old sony and the instuctions where terrible. Mostly just change the driver before adding the card nothing about disabling the onboard video. But I did recently find out something from Intel which is who made the motherboard for sony. But that was pretty limited too. Onboard video and name brand computers NOMORE. Good luck TheGorx Windows Help

Reply: (edit)i had the same problem but not the same computer (Dell optiplex gx110, intel onboard card, and a voodoo 5 to add) its very simple, go into windows, go into control panel, system, device manager, then go into your onboard card proprieties then at bottom of the small window, check the Disable in this hardware profile (or something similar) then reboot, turn off your computer, plug in your geforce 2, then plug your monitor in the geforce2, boot up and its supposed to works, and windows will detect your geforce 2 (or install it from a cd/diskette) Mat128
