Hyperlinks won't open in IE

I'm running IE version 6.0. When browsing the internet running IE if I click on a link that should open up in another IE browser window the operation doesn't complete. The new IE window pops up, however nothing appears in it. The new IE window appears transparent. I can see my original window through the new/2nd one. One site in particular that I frequent is Dotphoto. When I click on the 'upload' button the upload window will pop up but it's blank and transparent. I'd appreciate any help. I have downloaded the latest version of IE, didn't help.

oops, sorry that link is for IE4.

I tried the fixes that were recommended at the link you provided. They didn't work. Same old problem still there. Thanks for the try.
