Does anyone bother check the microsoft knowledge base before asking questions?

It seems most people just want the answers handed to them...

Well instead of waiting for a response for someone how might not even know what they are talking about, why not search for yourself?

I hear gfdg but I agree more with Daniel. Microsoft's database is difficult to deal with if you're an expert and like a maze if you're not. However it is a good place to check if you are very patient.

My first visit to computing.net was over a year ago. I was directed here as a result of a search on yahoo or lycos to a problem I had.
Since then I have bookmarked many of the resources people here have previously researched. They have saved me a ton of time.
many of those are MS' pages.

I am believing this is a greater knowledge base then MS and certainly a more personable interaction.
