Comment: All of a sudden, when I put in an address http://?? it takes a real long time to go to the address, even shows for about 30 seconds before it starts comming up takes about 1 1/2 min. to come up, to any web site, even after I get my home page...was real fast, any idea what could be wrong SFC ok, ran ie 5.5 tools repair too, running w98se, 166 mhz 20 gig 80% free space?? Sue

Reply: (edit)If it just started, your ISP might be out of whack. Mine does that occasionally. I can connect at 49333 bps and then it takes forever to call up any web site. If you have an alternate phone number for the service, try that and see if it works normally. Also, if you've got a lot of stuff in you Internet Temp folder, you might want to clean that out using Disk Cleanup (START/PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/SYSTEM TOOLS/DISK CLEANUP)
