I RECENTLY DOWNLOADED THE LATEST DRIVER FOR MY PRINTER I HAVENT INSTALLED IT YET BECAUSE THE INFORMATION FOR THE DRIVER STATES ITS FOR PARRALEL PORT PRINTERS MINE IS USB CAN I USE THIS DRIVER?

my sister's hp printer has both ports on the back of the printer and both drivers on the distribution disk ...

the usb drivers are in a different subdirectory on the distribution disk than the lpt drivers...

It would appear that they are a different set of drivers....

We had to switch from lpt to usb because of a conflict with the scanner UMAX 2000p through port

We didn't know that updated drivers were available. Hope this helps
