Hello, A few weeks ago I bought a HP710C printer. If I set it as default printer, it takes more then 1 minute to start-up Word on a fast HP Omnibook 4150. Printing a document also takes a long time. Does any body know how to speed up the computer and printing? Best regards, Niels Roskam

Hi Niels Roskam whassup you have bought a very good printer thus these problems should only happen if something is wrong. i presume that you are using a windows interface Operating System. as you know windows are usually not very stable interfaces. even more, drivers and especcialy printer drivers cause a lot of problems in the working order of thses interfaces. what you should first do is check in devise manager if there is a yellow/red/blue thing over the icon that represents the HP710C printer. if there is, double click it and there the problem would usualy be explained. if there isn't such a mark, try checking the driver's properties for something that might be involved in slowing down your computer so much. also check the trubleshooting files of the printer to see if there is a subject that explaines a solution for your problem. (please try and understand that every printer has a very different driver and by itself is different from other printers. thus i approach your printer problem from every possibility). hope i helped and that now it will work as it should have. if no there could always be a melfunction in the printer itself in this case try getting a new one instead. anyways...
