HP recovery disk--what I have found

I was the one that upgraded to a new MB and could no longer use my Recovery disk. Here is what I have found out about the HP System recovery disk--in case anyone else has run into this:
All Windows CAB files are stored in .paq files, which after a little playing around found out can be opened in WinZip. However, they are all password protected. No setup.exe though. Just going to burn CD of CAB files at work, found out the guy down the hall from me has a burner. Of course I will use my own registration ID, so I think its legal since I had windows to begin with....
