Having a problem with a printer that worked fine before we switched it to another machine. It used to be on a windows95 AT style system, about 5 years old and now it is on a newer style Dell computer that is about 2 years old. It connects with parallel cable and lpt1 port. They took the old hard drive out of the old computer and stuck it in the new dell along with the dell hard drive. It seems to be working because it allows us to pull up all the information off of the old hard drive and edit change or delete anything we want. The printer won't print anything besides the top line or sometimes half of the top line...I could be doing something really dumb and just missing the spot to fix this in. I have been on HP's website but haven't found any help. I reloaded newly downloaded drivers off of their site and still no luck. It is a laserjet 6l. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Penny

uninstall the old drivers completely... you probably hafta install the new drivers onto your main drive (probably c:) instead of off your old one That is if the driver program allows you to select where to install it to.. I have a HP deskjet 722C and it let me choose... laserjet 61??? hehe that is old it sounds like...
