I have a Deskjet 880c which I use for black printing, and an epson photo 700 which i use for colour as it is better. Is it possible to print on the HP with just a black cartridge installed, as I cant work out how!! Please help!! Cheers, Alex Smith

Doubtful. Only the early models of the HP deskjet persuasion had the capability to do that. Why not set up the 880c to print greyscale? That's in effect the same thing.
