HP DeskJet 500C Driver for Win98

Similar problems as Vikrant Patel with HP Deskjet 560C under Win98. The printer worked properly under Win 3.1 but after selecting the drivers (files from the CD win98)and beginning to print the computer hangs up. Hp only offers printers for win3.1 and win 3.11 for Deskjet 560C. What can I do? Thanks for answering

This is obviously a larger problem than anyone in the drivers seat(s)care to address. HP and/or MS should have been considerate enough to provide for such incompatablility. There are downloads available for anything and everything but Win '98. Where the hell is the support?

I'm looking for HPDJ32 for my Macintosh or some variation thereof? So that I can hopefully get an HP 550C working with my G3d/8500! I can't find its URL or nothing on various shareware sites, but I know I saw it mentioned in these forums somewhere?

The Driver for the HP 500c can be found at http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/dj500c_swen.html This driver works with win95 win98 and win 2000 I installed this driver into win98 and win 2000 on the 8/19/2000
