I have a hp cd-writer plus 7200 that is working ok with win95. Now I am trying to install it on a computer with win98 but I can't get it to work. Is there anyone who could give me some advice on what to do?

It should work properly on Win98 too, but u need to give more info's. Installed the driver porperly w/ cables and plugs working? Did u installed the drivers? Was it found by device manager? Do u use actual driver software? Any error occuring? If yes, what kind of? etc etc...

sara It should work. First if you have installed all the soft ware, uninstall it. 2. reboot your computer, than start from scratch. I went through the same thing with mine. Well needless to say, my 7200 died about 1 month after i installed it -- got a 9300 now and love it! good luck
