I have an older 560c deskjet.. HP says the only drivers available are the ones that come with windows. Problem is.. when I print the last line of each page is smeared/flattened and unreadable.. so I lose one line of text for each page printed. I have tried many different things.. the print test page is fine, but that is only 3/4s of 1 page.. doesnt extend into two.. anyone have this problem or have any suggestion.. please let me know. =) Thank you!

Well, HP is wrong I guess. They have drivers listed on their web site for that model. Go to the following link and you will see technical support on the right side, under that is a link to download your drivers.

Good luck.

I had a similar problem with an old HP 520.
If a new driver does not help, then check your user's manual (hope you still have it) and see if there is a reference to adjusting the dip switches on your printer. (That would be in the troubleshooting section of the manual.)

You could also try playing around with margin settings in Page Setup (File Menu)in your WP program. You might want to adjust the bottom margin to 1.25 inches.

Also, a good cleaning sometimes helps; sometimes using a higher quality of paper.

Good Luck
