Comment: I used to run Win ME in my computer but recently deleted it and run Windows 98 instead. When reinstalling I kept the folder "My Documents" and all its sub-directories. There is a sub folder namely "My pictures" in "My Documents" where all pictures (icons) are still displayed as thumbnails by Windows 98. This folder was created by Win ME before. How can I customize the same way for other folders where I saved my picture collections?

Reply: (edit)I coundn't understand you clearly. If you want to view any images as thumbnails then download irfan viewer which is available at download.cnet.com. You could also able to see bmp files as thumbnails in the windows explorer.

Reply: (edit)ok, I'll check the above site now but Mahmud, what I meant is displaying images as thumbnails without any external programs. If you click on menu view, you have the options to display your files as 'large icons', small icons'; list; 'details'. That is Win98. In WinME apart from that you have another option as 'thumbnails'. I thought Win 98 is not capable of doing it, but hmm, it can display the folder once customized by Win ME. That is the question.
