Specs: Windows 98 SE, P4 1.6 Ghz / 256MB DDR

every time i start my computer there is a red box that has a message which says... Your hardisk is too fragment, uninstall Recovery Genius and defrag your disk.

does anyone has any idea how to uninstall Recovery Genius on a Maxtor 40G Hardisk?

before this happened i formatted this hardisk (to eliminate suspected viruses) using windows 98 bootdisk, make partition (c:-50% d:-50%), and things just go on smoothly...

after i installed Windows 98, there i noticed this problem... i observed and tested to reboot many times, but still it displays the same message, but after pressing any key Windows 98 seems to have no problem... but i just really want to address this problem.

any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

See if you can go into Recovery Genius Setup - Control R to uninstall
