How can I reset the PowerDVD region code counter? I have to play region codes 1 & 3 and 5 times is not enough. I tried to install other DVD player but the counter is still valid.

Thanks to JEF
However , the download programs cannot solve my problems as my counter already reached 5 and I cannot switch to other code anymore. Any other suggestion?

Hi

I'm no DVD expert but give this link a try:

http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/support/region.html

If that isn't of any help, i'd suggest you try posting your question again on a DVD forum:

http://www.cdrom-guide.com/cgi/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number=12&SUBMIT=Go

Good luck!

The download programs worked and turned my Pioneer DVD ROM code-free by changing the code in firmware. THANKS THANKS THANKS... MANY THANKS to you, JEF. You are very helpful.

May I have your e-mail so I can ask you for help if I have other PC problems.

Try looking in the registry, there is either a count of times left, or times changed. I cannot remember where it is anymore, but i have used it before, just keep on setting it to 3!
