how to remove Yahoo! toolbar

I have a Yahoo! toolbar that sits on my Internet Explorer window and I want to get rid on it.
I went to the Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and from there, Yahoo! Companion Toolbar (and also Yahoo! Internet Mail) are listed. So I clicked on them to remove them from my computer but it doesn't do anything and I didn't get any error message. So how do I uninstall that to remove it from my computer?

did you try restarting your pc after you uninstalled the yahoo toolbar?

Yes I restart my machine but they are still there in Add/Remove Programs and I still have that toolbar in my IE window.
