Comment: How are you? My system harddisk is partition into 3 drive namely c, d,e. however due to insufficient disk space at c I wish to remove or delete drive D. Pls advise me on the procedure . Thank you.

Reply: (edit)Boot up in DOS Mode (Press F8 when you see "Starting Windows 9x" you will get a boot menu. Choose Command Prompt only. Type FDISK after the boot at the Dos prompt (C:>) Choose DELETE a LOGICAL DRIVE and remove the one you want to be deleted.

Reply: (edit) Partition Magic would come in handy here. You are risking your data with Fdisk. What Marc said is basically right with a few kickers. You have to eliminate logical drives in reverse order--E first. So you are going to have to remove E and D. Then to make C larger you have to resize it. I am not sure but Fdisk may force you to format C: when you do this.
