Are (were) you using Windows?
If so, just type "format c:" without the quotes. Any more questions, feel free to email me. dmorrell@auntvi.com

AND if it is going to br the main boot drive, run FORMAT command and don't forget to copy over the system files. Boot up with a boot floppy, type A:/FORMAT C: /S don't forget the space and the 's', as this is the parameter whot tells FORMAT to copy system files to the very front of your drive to enable your 'pooter to boot up from it when you turn it on.
