This is going sound like a really lame question, but how can I overwrite my CD-RWs that are suddenly "read-only"? I used Norton Ghost to create them (they're a back-up of my system), but now I want to update them and I can't figure out how to erase/overwrite them. Duuhhh!

Thanks!

You should have an option to 'erase' the CD in your burner software.

It's Nero. When I open it, there doesn't seem to be an "erase" button on the control panel that appears. Of course.

If I remember it´s about in the the 3rd or 4th dropdownbox.

But you´d detter save you hd images to a regular cd-r.
If you burn an image to a cd-rw and it contains a virus you will keep having that problem.
cd-r´s don´t cost a thing s you´d better burn on cd-r. Sometimes cd-rw have the nasty habit of not being readable so cd-r IS really a better option for you.
