in order to setup your p/c a a webserver you would need cable internet and your own I/P address although this site will offer somthing in the order of what you want

Read the cable company's service agreement carefully. Some providers don't allow you to run a server, and will cancel your account if they find out that you are.

If your ISP has no problem there are a couple things you may be interested in: Sambar (www.sambar.com) is much better than any blotware from microsoft. I use sambar version 4.1 and it's real small and effiecient. If you get it, or any web server software, check for security problems and fix them first to prevent bad things from happening
