i'm looking into this, myself. you'll need some type of wap (wireless application protocol) software, an os (win CE) and a pcmcia (pc) antennae card, which would fit in one of the type 11 slots. THEN you would need to subscribe to a wireless service ($40+ per month). figure on $200 for the pc card antennae, $80 for the win CE and the wap software can be found on some sites free. those over on the pda forum of this site can probably help you more.

sorry for the confusion, but the win CE os can't be bought. it only comes WITH a device. look at the nokia site for mobile solutions. and be sure that the mobile service chosen is in your area.

I am currently a wireless hardware provider that work with several distribuiton companies that I have established accounts with. Depending on the type of wireless connection you want to achieve or connect with. i.e. service provider, type of equipment that they use, is it a LAN or WAN connections or other lateral application. Solutions will depend on the type of wireless hardware you get and who you want to connect to. If you will be linking with a universal wireless hardware system, then it will depend on what your preference is. If they are proprietary and only work on their own systems, then you will have to get their products. There are several websites that you can look at just to name a few, waverider.com, breezecom.net and cisco.com which carries the aironet wireless 340 and 350 devices, these units typically have their own software. If any of these meets your needs, email me to get a price on one of these units. Depending on your type of connection needs it can run from $40 on up depending on the type of connection you select or require. Hardware pricing will depend on the unit you select. Hope this helps. Keep me posted if you need to know anything else or want to see more reference materials. Oh, I forgot. Bluetooth is also an option.
