Subject: How to listen to radio on internet? |
Comment: PC: IBM (Pentium 100Mhz)Aptiva 2168 M55, 64MB RAM, Mwave sound-modem 28.8, amlified speakers, Bluelight or NetZero ISP (free internet). How to start listening to live broadcast of distant radio station on the Web. Browsing is no problem. Some "player" is needed? What is the procedure to connect to listen? Is my system good enough? Andre

Reply: (edit)Download Real Rlayer7 the free version, most stations use that, and a few use Winamp which is also free. As for connecting its all automatic, just click on their listen to button, or whatever they call it. www.real.com www.winamp.com

Reply: (edit)If you download Realplayer, absolutely, positively make sure you do not let it install "Comet Cursor", it is a "phone home" app which will run in the background and eat up to 25% of your system resources!
