I am assuming that you have the CD and need it to do the installation. Borrow or download (bootdisk.com) a windows98 startup disk.

When you boot up w/ win98 boot disk...be sure to press 1 for cd-rom support. If not, the boot disk will not boot up the cd-rom drive. Good luck!
