Can someone give me info how to install a secondary hard drive. I have Win 95 and 2.1G hard drive and I want to put in another 1.7G hard drive.

Good choice! Jumper the master [original] drive to Master, and the new drive to Slave. Check for jumpers on the back of the drive. Most drives have a small icon on the drive somewhere to identify which pins to use. Connect the drive to the same IDE cable as the original using the secondary connector on that cable. Be sure to line up the red stripe with pin 1 on the new drive. Boot the PC, hit the Delete key during the Post Test thus entering CMOS. Rather than attempt to type in all the settings for the new drive, type or use LBA in the last column marked MODE. Save and close out of CMOS. Reboot and let Windows 98 identify the drive. Go to MS DOS program and from the c: prompt type format d: and hit enter. [If you have a CD-ROM now using the letter d: Windows will probably move it to e: and use d: for the new hard drive.] Once the drive is formatted it is ready for data storage.
