to remove windows passwords
seach for *.pwl and rename them to .old
reboot and all windows passwords are gone.
you can also look in c:\windows
click on view and have it show file extensions, and the right click on ones with the pwl ext. and rename or just delete
them. reboot and it wil ask for password
at startup ,leave blank for no password.

if you want to get regedit to run
if the above doesn't solve it
rename regedit.exe to regedit.com
then run it, after a reboot.
