i need to wipe my HD clean and do a reinstall of my Win98se. ive downloaded all the exe programs files i wante to keep to a data Cd for the reinstall but i dont have the driver i will need for the reinstall of my video card on CD where can i go on my PC to download it so i have it when i do my reinstall

If I understand your question correctly, just go to the manufacturer of your video card's website, look for "downloads", dial to the card model you have, and click on download drivers. Save them to your harddrive, and after burn them to a ROM disk or copy to a zip drive, and you're done.

or you can go into your deivice manager. It will tell you where to locate the driver on your HD, then just transfer to disk

I advise not trying to use post#2's suggestion. Do it the safe way that was suggested by post#1

Instructions for installing disk first says to go to Settings in Control Panel and increase display pixels to 800 x 600. However, my VGA Standard video drive settings arrow won't increase by dragging or clicking "increase". Friend says I can upgrade video card drive free on the internet. Do you know how to do this? Thanks.
