Subject: How to download .iso files w/ EasyCD |
Comment: Hi, Does anyone know how to get Easy CD Creator to download .iso files. I set it up to File/CD image, File Type: ISO image. But when I click the ISO file, I see the site's own saving window, without making any connection to EasyCD. Double clicking on the iso file makes no difference. If I let the site's saving go ahead, it goes thru the entire motion of saving, but nothing is saved after 20 hours at 10kb on DSL! (I also learned mirror sites make huge difference in time: another site "gatech" started out at 86K, making the 660mb job in two hours..the 10K site was Purdue). Thanks for any help to make the connection.

Reply: (edit) Easy CD Creator is not an internet application. You must save the file to your hard drive first. If you are trying to use a website's download tool, it may require all cookies enabled and may also require activeX to be enabled. Better off downloading these files via ftp.
