My JPEG's have been saved with a program that I don't have anymore. I would like to just click on them and have them opened by Photoeditor. How do I do this with Windows 95?

Open Windows Explorer and go to the View menu and select options.
From there click on the File Types menu and find JPEG file image in Registered file types list.
Select it and click Edit... button.
Next select open on the Actions menu and click the Edit... button.
In the application used to perform action enter the location of the application you want to use to open jpeg files with.
That will do it.
Also, just edit the location and make sure you keep all the added options at the end of the address.

For the sake of detail:
Shift right click a .jpeg and then hit 'p' on the keyboard until you see photo editor (assuming it starts with 'p', I don't have that program) selected, then check always use this program and then 'ok'.

Updateing from catchup.cnet, Ulead Photo Explorer-opened the download to let the update join the Ulead file and it changed all
Jpeg to some kind of Microsoft flag icon.
Now i have read your responses to fixes but
can we go into a more indepth answers, every
detail starting with click file types and

theres where things get confusing, but on she went with more steps that need to be explained. My Ulead complete change did not
leave its name in the registered file types
list-so which one wants to stand up and say
"I did it,it was me." So is there some manual

hope this gets to you helpful folks.
