Hi all guy´s I have a PC with Win 98, and Word 97. I use it to mantain a list of works done day by day. How can I redirect the auto-backup manager to that the backup copy will be done in a network place, in this case, my boss PC.

Very Thanks.

Best regards.

If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong.

Are you using Windows Backup or some other software?

No, I haven´t any kind of backup program. I refer to the the "natural" ability of Office to make a backup copy, but it makes it in the same directory I put the files, and I want that do it in other directory, but I couldn´t find where to set this option.

Thank you.

First of all this question should have been posted in the office software forum for best results. That said, I am not sure what you mean by "the the "natural" ability of Office to make a backup copy".

Are you referring to auto save?

You can always save to your default location and then "save as" to a different location. You may need to "map" the network drive you want to save to.
