Hi.
I currently have Microsoft Outlook 5.
It works great in every way.
I have One of the Office 2000 discs, and one of the programs on it is Microsoft Outlook.
How much better is Outlook than Outlook Express?
I don't have a problem whatsoever as far as dependability, so I guess what I'm asking is what other features does it have? Is it worth installing?
Also, if I do install it, can I keep outlook express (and keep that as the defualt e-mail application)?
Thanks for any advice.

Here is my opinion. I have Outlook 98 at work. I use Outlook Express at home. I prefer Outlook Express. Outlook 98 has a lot of features that are meant for business that I don't even bother with at work.
Just an opinion,
DD

Thanks for the info.
It doesn't really seem like Outlook is worth it, and I'm a "power user" (that's still a really dumb term, but Arliss is coming on and I can't think of anything else).
Thanks...

Thanks a lot for all the info.
I don't think I'm gonna bother installing Outlook.
Outlook Express 5 gets the job done perfectly.
Thanks again for the help.

keep in mind that the last 1/2 dozen viruses have used outlook express to propagate themselves. Myself, I don't recommend outlook express to anyone for that reason. And to boot they've just discovered 2 more "holes" in the software that could allow any serious hacker to do serious damage to anyones system that uses oe.
My opinion, I use Netscape and Netscape messenger. It's not perfect, it sometimes crashes, but hey, so far no viruses (that i know of) have used netscape for their virus expansion.
BLessings

Yeah, I'm aware of that.
I've got Virus protection software. And I don't even get spam or accept messages from people that I don't know.
I was a big Fan of Netscape on my old Win95 machine, but they way Win98SE integrates the internet right into the PC is perfect (especially considering that I have a cable modem). All I have to do is move my mouse to turn my screen back on, hit the "connect" button on my HP keyboard (changed it from opening an ISP to IE) and I'm all set.
Can't top that...
