Are you talking about a clean re-install using the Win98 Upgrade CD (when it prompts you to enter your Win95 disc)or simply a general upgrade from existing Win95?

You can probably stick diskette #1 of Win 3.1 or Win 95 in the floppy and browse, or use your old win cd. Of course the cd must be working.

Actually if you use win3.x floppies ,it asks for multiple floppies, not like Win95 which only asks for #1. It didn't want all of them but it neede about 4 or 5 if I remember right.
Summary: Does anyone know of a way to install the Win98 Upgrade without Windows installed?? Is there a file I can place somewhere or modify that will fool Win98 Upgrade into thinking I've got Win95 installed ...
