Hi Friends! Here's my question: If I'm creating a database of business cards using excel, and I want to sort it by either contact person or by company, how do I do it? I mean, Is there a function which I can use so that I'll just be clicking a certain cell, and it will be merged by the column I selected like company name or contact person? I once heard of 'alpha' but I didn't get it. I hope you'll help me with this one. Thanks in advance!

There should be a button in the tool's bar just below the menu's one displaying something like A-Z to achieve your job (located near the right side of the bar). As you said, just select a cell in the column you want to sort then click on the button and follow the instructions in the dialog box. It is straightforward!

Did you even bother looking at Excel Help before posting this question? I'm guessing you didn't. Data Sort is the command you're looking for. Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!
