Just get or create an Ms-Dos bootdisk (V5.0 or up, not a rescuedisk from Windows!) from some clean system. An original Ms-Dos setup disk might contain it all already.
Make sure you copy FDISK and FORMAT from the original dos dir.

Boot it from that disk, run FORMAT from there on your (C: ?) drive. Now its all clean. Next use FDISK and create an active partition and if you want more partitions/logical drives like D:,E: and so on (multiple partiotions come in handy in saving files separate from your OS) on it.

Then reinstall W95 and all the software again. Make sure nothing is infected or you can do it all over again!

In case you canīt switch to C: from A: after booting it from the bootdisk, use FDISK first and destroy all data on it with the delete partition option.

This all should normally work fine because it wont use anything on the infected drive.
Good luck. Let me know pls.
Martin

G'day Newbie, click the HOW TOs button at the top and choose the Advanced section, this should get you going, read it over a few times. Also make a note of all your internet settings as well.

And for the record Fdisk [partition program] comes BEFORE fomatting and you may not have to partition anyway.

And make you have a boot disk that has Cd-rom support or if not at least have your Cd-rom drivers installation disk handy.
