OK Ross, I'm assuming 433mhz is the speed that the chip came with and that you are running your motherboard at 66Mhz right now so your clock multipler should be 6.5.
The easiest way to this is to increase your Front Bus Speed to 83MHz if your motherboard has that option. This will overclock your 433 to 539. Make sure you have proper cooling in you system and that the CPU fan is working properly. If you want more information check this site out, its pretty good for addtional information on overclocking celerons. Good Luck Ross!

Ross, another good site to check out is:

I believe the V66M MB is manufactured by Acer.

Just use i high proformance heat sink with 2 fans for stable speeds of 540 aprox and use thermal guck for further clocking! remember 650 is a very ulikely speed and best left till your system is on its last legs or you spend £500 on a cooling unit

Yes, the V66M is an Acer Motherboard. I have an Acer aspire, and it is the same board I am using. The problem w/this board is that it only supports up to 450 mhz via the jumper settings.. So you will have to go w/another option ...

Blockade,

ACER america says that the V66M will only support up to 450 mhz. However, I found a switch setting for V66M in ACER UK that has settings up to 500 mhz. Also, while searching around IBM support, I found machines as high as PIII 550 mhz with the V66M motherboard.
It seems like the board can support higher, I just have to find out how.

Regards
