First of all, what do you need a bootdisk of? To go into safemode or dos with extra convential mem and drivers? Email me with what your perhipials are and what you want to run (ie. games, apps, and so on). Or instead you can go and download a Bootdisk maker from one of many websites, check your computer manufactors webpage first to check if they have one, if not go and find a generic one. Hope it helps you

Assuming you want a Windows95/98 boot disk and you can run Windows (in safe mode if need be), here's the easiest way to make a boot disk: Click Start->Settings->Control Panel and double-click Add/Remove Programs. Click the Startup disk tab and click Create Disk. You will be asked for a blank disk - just follow the instructions from there.

I agree with response number 2. (DAN)
If you need your CDROM to work when using this boot disk, Follow this....

1. Copy Mscdex.exe and your cdrom driver file ( it will be end with .sys) to the boot disk.
2. Make a Autoexec.bat and a Config.sys file on your boot disk.
3. Edit the autoexec.bat file and add the line "Mscdex.exe /D:mscd001"
4. Edit the Config.sys file and add the line
"DEVICE=(driver file) /D:Mscd001"

Test the boot disk to see if it works by booting up with it, and reading what the screen displays. The CDROM will be "D:".

Hey guys! IN SOME WAYS, boot disk is the same as startup disk. however when we are talking about installing OS, boot disk is the right to say. boot disk is the same as installation disk. if you want to have the 3 setup/boot disk for win nt 4.0, here's how:
(assuming that you have the nt cd rom)

at the prompt, type:
:\i386\winnt32.exe /ox

you will be told to insert individually
the 3 diskettes (formatted).

BUT HEY I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS IN WIN 95.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?
