i know i have to install windows 98 from the CD-Rom but how I can Reload the windows 98 from the Hard drive ..to skipe using the CD-Rom ..I did Read one time on this web site computing .net about the instructions but I really forget any info I would be very much appeciated...

Sara to do this, and yes it is done quite often, you need to fisrt copy the contence of the win98 folder from the cd rom, to the harddrive, then run the setup.exe from the dir on the hard drive that you coppied the files to. Its very usefull to install like this, its faster, and you will never have to insert your win98 cd when installing devices and such, if you need more help email me
good luck

Actually, the best way is to copy the CABS from \windows\options\cabs . The setup program is there and as long as you can access the drive with those cabs and the drive you install to (boot drive) is large enough, you can install win98 to it.
