every time I open internet explorer this little window opens up at the bottom of the screen that sends me to lop.com.

I ran ad-aware software, no help. any ideas? thanks! - jl

Before you open Internet Explorer, push Control alt delete, and look and see if Lop.com is there if so delete it. But first right click on the Internet explorer Icon and check to see that the progrem has not altered the Address bar in there. Lets know how you get on. Have a nice day.

I had the same problem - but its so easy. You go to lop.com, at the bottom click on "customer service" then "how do I uninstall ..." Download the file you need and it won't bother you again.

justin, There are uninstall instructions for lop.com at the UNINSTALL lop.com link below my name(Homepage:)which should rid this Spyware completely from your computer.

Yes, I agree that the uninstall instructions work pretty well, but when I got bit by lop.com they included a js.script virus which changed a lot of little junk. Good thing I had everything backed up and a good antivirus. Wish someone would find a way to get rid of those pesty, less than desirable and unethical web sites that think they are helping themselves by grabbing your home page and dumping all their crap on your computer. I don't deny their right to be there but they shouldn't have the right to dump their crap on me. Sorry about venting. Have a nice day.
