Subject: How do I get rid of log on screen
OS: 98se
CPU/Ram: 512
Comment:

Recently did a full reinstall of 98se but am receiving log on screen when windows starts.

When windows starts it asks for a user name and password. If I click on either ok or cancel button it will put me into windows 98se.

How can I get rid of this log on screen? Is it possible to get rid of it without having to do another full reinstall?

Thanks in advance.

If you are not Networking .
Click on Start --> Settings --> Control Panel , double click on the Network icon .
All you need in this Window is Dial-Up-Adaptor & TCP/IP.
Delete the others .
Ignore the warning message about not being complete . That's OK .
If you ever need to Network , you can add them on again .
