Reply: (edit)To format your harddrive make a start up dish and stick it in when your computer is booting up when it gives you a list press the one that says start computer with cd-rom then after it is done with its thing type format C: or what ever drive is your harddrive that you wish to format.then go to your cdrom drive and with the OS cd or main disk go in to setup or install which ever one it is blah blah blah

Reply: (edit)The 'deltree c:' will wipe out everything on the C: drive. A format does (more or less)the same thing. But I would suggest a format like Joshua suggests, except that if you are running Win95 download a floppy with cdrom support before doing the format and make sure that it works!
