Comment: how would i change the user name of windows. the default one, entered when installing windows. i dont want to create a user account so if any of your description involves "control panel> users" , its not gonna help me. i believe its a registry entry correct? also a PWL file. i think thats all though right?

Reply: (edit)Also, if you have any passwords setup in Windows, you'll want to delete any .PWL files on the computer. I believe this can be done from within Windows. Go to Start>Find>Files & Folders. Type in *.pwl>click OK. Right-click any .PWL files found & select Delete. If you're unable to delete them from within Windows, reboot to DOS & delete them there by typing Del C:\Windows\*.pwl. HTH Dave Have you ever noticed that if you rearranged the letters in "mother in law", they come out to "Woman Hitler?"
