Subject: How do I change the 'pnpdrvr' driver in W98 SE?
Comment:

Hi,

I have a piece of software that works with WIN98 but has problems with WIN98 SE. After disabling one driver after another, the problem seems to be with the 'pnpdrvr' which is under the Boot section in System.ini. Remove this driver while all other drivers and startup programs are active, the software works.

Is there in the meantime that I can install the 'pnpdrvr' from WIN98 and remove the one from WIN98 SE? If I can, where do I get the driver?

Thanks

Mo

whet does the pnpdriver = to. mine says display.drv=pnpdrvr.drv. I would look on the windows cd. It will probably be in a cabinet and hard to find. Maybe try to reinstall the video.

do you have a motherboard disk that came with your PC or Motherboard. If you have reinstalling the Busmaster Drivers may help.
hope this helps
