On a computer in our office, we have a computer that REFUSES to keep it's resolution settings.
It used to be on 640 x 480, but I switched it to 800 x 600.
However, every time I restart the computer, it goes right back to 640 x 480.
I have changed the settings on several computers and never had this problem.
Am I missing something?
This is a Windows 98 OS.

Maybe your graphic card doesn't support such a screen resolution...

Start Run and type msconfig. Select OK.

Select the Advanced Tab and Ensure VGA
640 X 480 X 12 is not checked.
