I've install the 56k modem and it is working fine (i can call anywhere i want... i got a tonality). Now i want to send a fax with a program called act 2000 but the button in the program isn't available. All the options in this program seems to be ok. How can i get it done or how can i know if i can send a fax without this program?

Did you install the software for faxing? Sometimes all software on the disk isn't automatically installed. Check in windows explorer under the directory for the software and see if in fact fax software was installed. If so, I would remove and re-install it. Also, there may be an initial manual setup to do before use. Such as prefixes, dial 1, area code, etc.

I didn't see any fax software with the modem cd and none on the web site. For the manual setup everything seems to be fine.
