Reply: (edit)Only way is to delete partition using fdisk and create new one without turning on large disk support. Will lose all data on drive. Can't imagine why you would want to go back to fat16 though.

Reply: (edit)you messed up when you went FAT 16 TO FAT 32 i got fat 16 and it works fine no prob with it of course it has a 813 MG hdd so no room for games but works fine for school

Reply: (edit)Partition magic or fdisk are your basic options (as per above). To all those doubters of fat16, for small hard drives it is significantly faster than the same drive formatted to fat32, although fat32 gives more effective use of disk space. I format all gig or less drives as fat16 because of improved compatibility with older programs, faster, and in small drives the difference in hard drive space is not too bad (unless you have thousands of files smaller than 10kb or so)

Reply: (edit)FAT16 only works in 2 GIG partitions ie you will have 10 particions on your 20 gig HDD
