You need the most up to date driver for your graphics and identify with windows your monitor...
THen go control panel display all the stuff, if everything's right and its not there... well, I guess you cant, either your card or your monitor

To display this color and resolution setting. you need a display card with at least 4MB of ram. If the display card won't support it, you won't get it.

I've only seen 16 bit, and 32 bit, where did the 24 bit come from?
