Subject: How 2 transfer MS Office to new PC

Comment: I have Win95 & MS Office on old PC but don't have the disks (came loaded) I want to transfer the MS Off. to my new PC which has Win98 (I made sure they included disks this time) then install Win98 and MS Off. back to old PC for the wife to use. I thought about transferring to 3 1/2 disks, but what about hidden files and registry files? Have NO IDEA which are applicable or how to find them. Any low cost ideas? Both systems have more than enough memory & disk space for use.

Reply: (edit)I think the registry function will work. To see the hiden files you must go to the folder option and click at "see all files" To know wich files are applicable, you can look when they were created, and when word.exe were created and if these files already exist on the new pc. But don't delete hiden files and be very carefully with the folder c:\windows\system.
