If i want to send emails to more than 1 person in hotmail, what do I use - CC or BCC? And whats the difference? I've never tried using them before so I don't really know. Also, how must the addresses be put into these boxes (commas, spaces? etc)
Thanks!
Alex

CC is carbon copy and BCC is blind carbon copy.
you can use c.c. or bcc to copy the message to other addressees. with b.c.c. the other addressee's will not be able to see who else you copied the message to, whereas with c.c they will be able to see who else you copied the message to.
You don't have to use either and can put more than one address into the To: boxGuy

CC (carbon copy) sends a copy, and if you send it to more than one person, they can see who the others are that you sent a copy to. If you send BCC (blind carbon copy) to more than one person, they can't see who the other recipients of the copy are.
Hope that made sense - anyone please correct if I'm wrong! :)

No worries, actually after I read my answer i realised it wasn't very good anyway. So I'll try again:
If you want to send the message to more than one person just put the addresses in the To: box seperated by , or ;
if you wanted to send a message to person a. to action and person b. for info you would put a. in the to: box and b. in the c.c. box.
if, however you didn't want person a. to know that you had copied in person b. you would put b in the b.c.c. box
Alternatively if you wanted to send a message to several different addresses and you didn't wnat anybody to know who you were sending it to put them all in the b.c.c. box and leave the to: box blank or put your own email address in there.Hope that doesn't muddy things up too much
Guy
